 | About Alex - Alex Fuchs is a senior broadcast journalism major at the University of
Wisconsin Eau Claire. In addition to wrapping up his final semester of
college, Alex has put together a weekly radio show with the Student Radio Initiative on campus. He also volunteered at a local women's shelter, and worked for Frito-Lay as a merchandiser for local retail stores. He has worked a variety of internships throughout his college career. He has been a promotions intern for KQRS Classic Rock radio in the Twin Cities, a news production intern for Maverick Media for News-Talk 790AM in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Alex also worked as a promotions intern for ESPN 1500 radio in Minneapolis in the summer of 2011. In his free time, Alex enjoys golfing, lifting weights, roller-blading, shooting pool, and fishing. He is a big sports fanatic and loves to watch both professional football and baseball. He is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and and Minnesota Twins. |
Philosophy
I have learned and gained so much from being a student of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. I have met some amazing people and done things I have always wanted to, but it's only the beginning. Life is what you make it, so take the good with the bad and learn from your mistakes and achievements. I am excited for what my future holds and I know eventually I will do like Sinatra and "play among the stars".
